I am hearing a lot of stories about people upping their fitness routines with home gyms and workouts to try and keep some sanity in their day. I have heard the opposite stories from friends who are packing on the pounds and not able to get a good routine going. These are the friends I am concerned about.

It Takes Time To Build Your Dream

I had someone call me the other day because a friend of theirs said they should speak to me about my networking events. This person says to me “Just to be clear, I have tried events in the past and have never received even one referral from the people at the event.” When she said this I just chuckled. I hear this comment a lot and my response is always the same; How many of those people did you do business with or try to help out? The answer is typically none or maybe one of them. So why did you expect them ALL to do business with you?

Do you have goals for 2019? Did you write them down and keep them where you can see them? I know for 2018 I did a horrible job tracking my goals. I did take the time to write them down and then I never looked at them until the end of the year. Surprisingly, by pure luck, I did achieve a few of them.
